They’re well-known for their commitment to quality and consistency, providing dependable welding solutions to industries like petrochemical, marine, and power generation. With a strong emphasis on innovation, customer service, and local know-how, Njabulo Stainless makes sure their products not only meet strict international standards but also cater to the specific needs of South African industries. Their ER347 SAW and Flux combination is designed to deliver outstanding corrosion resistance and mechanical performance, even in the toughest welding conditions.
AWS Class ER347 is a stabilized austenitic stainless steel wire that contains chromium (19-21%), nickel (9-11%), and columbium (niobium), which helps improve resistance to intergranular corrosion. It usually has trace amounts of silicon, manganese, and carbon. In terms of mechanical properties, it boasts a tensile strength of about 80,000 psi (550 MPa), a yield strength of 55,000 psi (380 MPa), and a minimum elongation of 30%. The matching flux not only enhances the ease of slag removal but also improves the appearance of the weld bead, ensuring consistent weld integrity. This powerful combination offers excellent weldability, high strength, and thermal stability, making it ideal for high-temperature and corrosive environments.

We uphold stringent quality standards for our AWS Class ER347 SAW and FLUX, subjecting them to rigorous testing. Our extensive tests encompass the Hardness Test, Chemical Analysis via Spector Analysis, PMI Testing, Flattening Test, Micro and Macro Tests, Pitting Resistance Test, Flaring Test, and Intergranular Corrosion (IGC) Test. Commercial invoice, packaging list, Certificate of Origin, and Guarantee Letter accompany our products. For added assurance, we offer third-party inspection certificates, validating the excellence and suitability of our AWS Class ER347 SAW and FLUX across various applications and ensuring client satisfaction.
The AWS Class ER347 SAW and its associated flux are popular choices for applications that demand excellent corrosion resistance and stability in high-temperature environments. You’ll often find this filler material in industries like petrochemical, food processing, pharmaceuticals, and power generation, where it shines in welding 321 and 347 stainless steels. It’s particularly well-suited for pressure vessels, piping systems, and heat exchangers that operate under elevated temperatures. Plus, the addition of niobium helps stabilize the weld against carbide precipitation, making it a great fit for areas that are susceptible to intergranular corrosion. Its compatibility with Submerged Arc Welding (SAW) guarantees deep penetration and smooth, high-quality welds, perfect for heavy-duty fabrications.
